I wanted to make sure that it took compatible cartridges because I read some where online that an owner said it didn't. UKDVDR has bad customer reviews.0 -
I was told that by a supplier, who probably didn't have any T0807 packs in stock
Never had a problem with UKDVDR or bigpockets0 -

That takes a single black cartridge to £5.88.
True, though does anyone order a single cartridge?
The way most printers work, installing the new one and it running its welcome routine usually runs the other cartridges down
This seems a good deal as some of these have 19ml of ink, a lot of compatibles have 13ml

Multipack value is ok though. You can also find them online by searching under Epson T0801-T0806.0 -

The OP did.
Might try an Epson for my next machine. Cheap inks.0 -

if the OP is about again, just wondered how you'd got on with the compatible ink?
i've just bought an Epson SX610FW & am looking at the ink choices now, can't find much feedback about any problems with this particular model, but after loads of non-working compatibles with my old Epson Stylus Color 440, i'm leaning towards original Epson cartridges...
i'm really pleased with the new printer, it's an old model now (from end of 2009 i think) but it had some good reviews. it cost £85 from CCLOnline (now showing as out of stock & the price has jumped to £155!). wi-fi printing from the laptop downstairs is such a bonus, wish i'd upgraded ages ago now.0 -
You can use either the T0715 set or the T1006 set with a T1001,

You could use Pro Jet compatibles which I use from either bigpockets or UKDVDR, amongst others
For bigpockets, search by cartridge number but they usually only have the T0715 set
http://www.bigpockets.co.uk/cartridge_finder.php?nav=8
For UKDVDR, search using the model number, again they have the T0711 - T0714

Photo Paper here, amongst others

I haven't had to change the cartridge yet but I have purchased and received a black compatible cartridge for £1.95. I will update here as soon as I do need to change it though.0
