Help Item not received what next!

I brought a craft machine on Ebay on the 28th Feb, paid £124.00 inc £20.00 postage... I had emailed the seller prior to the end of the bidding asking which cartridges she was including which she answered after 3 days saying that she apologized for the delay but she had be ill and unable to get to the internet... I excepted this - bid - won item - and paid immediately thru Paypal using the system on Ebay, 2 days later I emailed her as ask when I could expect delivery as I was itching to get go.. No reply... (but she could still be ill!!) Then I receive an email from Paypal saying that my payment had not been claimed which may be due to a mistyped address It suggest that I cancel my payment and re-pay when I had confirmed her email address) I then checked my Paypal account which said it had be claimed and that I couldnt cancel it. I emailed her to tell her what had happened again No reply... I emailed every day and no reply.. I opened a case using ebay resolution centre which i then escalated to a claim 10 days later, the last I heard on the 21st March was that ebay would look at the case and decide on a refund within 48-72 hours, this has been and gone, and I dont know what to do next ..

I'm not terribly famailiar with an ebay claima s whenever i had issues in the past I preferred a paypal claim as it was easier. However, try phoning ebay and asking why they haven't made a decision yet.

On your ebay won page does it say that it is paid? Beacuse of the issue with the paypal payment it would have been easier probably to open it in Paypal but obviously too late now. I would be going onto ebay livehelp.

Although it says that you'll get a decision within 48-72 hours it has been longer recently. Don't worry though, it is a good service in the end.
I'd certainly not go as far as thriftymanc!

It's worth while putting in a message to eBay Customer Support giving the dates and saying you wondered if you'd be able to close the case soon. It's amazing how many cases are resolved on eBay after a gentle push!
