You don't need to sign a monthly contract. After the fixed term the contract will become periodic by default.
we are moving out end of the month coz thats when the contact ends

If you move out at the end of the fixed term (and not a day later) you don't need to give notice, though it is polite to do so.

The landlord has to return deposit within I think 10 working days, subject to agreed deductions. If you can't agree then you use the arbitration service of the scheme where your deposit was held.

    ....
told them we are not renewing our 6 month contract,

If you have stayed beyond the end of the fixed term, you need to give a month's notice to end at the end of a rent period or you will be liable for rent until that time.

So if your 6 month contract ended at the end of February, you now need to give notice before the end of March that you will leave by the end of April. Of course you can leave earlier, but you would still be liable for rent until the end of April.

... i moved into this farm house 7 months ago So your 6 month fixed term ended a month ago. You now have a monthly periodic tenancy. If you want to move out you need to give one months notice coinciding with a rent period. Your monthly rent periods run from the day following the end of your Fixed Term
...... then they have put a broken double glazed window in the living room and not sealed it. I assume you have reported this in writing to the LL? See Shelter advice here on enforcing repairs. Our back extension was never signed off, I assume you mean Building Regs? This is betwen the owner and the council. Unless it is actually dangerous (is it?) not much you can do outside heating boiler no certificate,Is it gas? If so this is a criminal offence - see here. If oil, there is no need for a certificate no electric certificate No certificate needed. Is the wiring dangerous?

.... the acres of land out the back is so over grown its up to our windows and they said that would be sorted,Did you get this agreement in writing? If not, not muchyou can do except either keep asking or look after the property yourself (it is your home for the duration) they connected the stables electricity to our house with no permission Either disconnect, or send them a bill in writing.and use our outside tap to clean the stables and for their personal use Are you on a water meter? If so, see electric advice above. If not, what's the big deal?( landlord lives down the road) we have never recieved a penny, See above

told them we are not renewing our 6 month contract, so they said we will sign a month one, but never recieved a copy.As said above, no new contract is needed. You already have a monthly periodic tenancy.

.... we are moving out end of the month coz thats when the contact ends ??? 6 month contract? You've been there 7 months? Your maths is wrong! Have you given Notice? If not, you can be charged rent. and she has refused to give us our 600 back coz she said its for the last month till end of april.See above. Sounds right.
i dont know what to do help meeeee xxxx
