Hi, I hope someone might be able to help me out. I am moving house and need a credit cards to buy quite a few things for the new place and delay repayments as much as possible without paying much interest. Found out from moneysavingexpert guides that M&S offer 15 months 0% interest on purchases. Went on their website to read t&c and that confused me. It said that the interest rate for the card is 0% for for 15 months and that maximum interest free period is 55 days. So which one is it - 15 months or just 2? I don't have much experience with credit cards and would very much appreciate if somebody could advise. Thanks!

Think of the 55 days as applying after the 0% intro period.
Interest is charged daily, but throughout the intro period the interest rate is 0% so the 55 days is irrelevant for the first 15 months.0 -
Ah, ok. Thank you very much for clarifying this!0

If you cant pay it off in the 15 months you could get another card to balance transfer to so on current deals (barclaycard) you could have 35 months intrest free payments only the BT fee to pay.0

Hi,
Although remember that a key point made time and again on this site is not to buy things on credit that you don't have the cash for.0
