    I got another generic response but as I'd deleted the title completely, save for the order number it obviously just didn't generate the same one! But, it did say that if the query was not covered in that email they would provide a response within 48 hours, so I will give them until Monday.

    Got a response over the weekend apologising for their error and stating they would pay the £4 back asap.

    Result in the end but it seems it is their default to not refund postage.
