Well they are a self-ticketing company, so the original fake PCN was plonked on the car by someone who was an employee of a retailer/company at the car park. Someone who has even less 'authority' to fine anyone than a monkey does, there will be no evidence of any contravention, no proof at all.

NPC do not do Court for obvious reasons - they couldn't prove anything as they were not there - they just operate a pyramid scheme basically so nowt to worry about!

The important thing from an MSE point of view is to collect the letters and - to help newbies - could you possibly take pics of them and pm them to Crabman to add to the top thread? He can check you've removed all ID details if you are worried about anonymity.

Apart from that, ignore the nice spring weather and try to work out which megalomaniac local village idiot stuck the ticket on the car. Maybe go and bait them again, hide behind a tree and jump out and laugh in their face when they try it again...:D
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I cant believe there web page, completely full of lies, whats that all about that regarding ppl illegally parking and they will enforce the law , what a load of crap , made me smile as i have read up all about these parking ticket scams and there parking notice charges which are completely unenforcable. Its good to read they dont do court saves me a job having to turn up, best thig is i wasnt even driving the car when this happened and im keeping the driver info a secret , ive not even told the person driving anything about it ect if they get anything reagarding tickets parking on private land to just ignore. Will have a go at uploading the notice attached to the car and the 2 letters.

Even the name "National Parking Control" is designed to fool people into thinking they are some sort of official organization. And the BPA wonders why we hold the private parking "industry" in such contempt.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Oh dear, their Data Protection Register entry (Z109881X) under the name UK Parking Company Ltd (actually its correct title is UK Parking Companies Ltd) appears to allow them simply to process data for the single purpose of maintaining their accounts and records. They're a member of the BPA AOS and are therefore entitled to access to the "electronic link" are they not? How do they legally process data received from the DVLA? I think we should be told.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

You could always simply post them in the format www*dot*picasa/ etc and one of us will "convert" them for you?
