Funded computer training for people at risk of redundancy in Hertfordshire

No one can predict the future, so it's always good to know what help and advice is available to you or people you know. In the current economic climate, one of the biggest things affecting some of us is the risk of redundancy.
But there's help at hand. Here at Pitman Training Stevenage, funding and support for people facing redundancy in the Hertfordshire area is now available.
As funding and assistance can only be offered to people still working with their current employer, it is important to get in touch if you or anyone you know has received written notice of compulsory redundancy.

may not technically be spam if it does indeed help people, but they should still get permission to post

    this sounds like spam.

Personally the IT business at the moment is not such a hot area to be in unless ou are supper skilled up. I have grave reservations that the course offered here will give the person anywhere near those skills.
  • Apologies to all who think my message is spam, though I understand why you would think it is. I didn't realise I needed to ask permission to post. Who do I ask?
Indeed I am not "supper skilled up" just a simple adviser at a Training Centre. I was made redundant 16 months ago, I went to Pitman Training in Stevenage to take up response to redundancy funding. I did courses in MS Access, Excel, Word and Sage Line 50. I am now, fortunately, employed by the same training centre. It does mean that I never forget the heartache caused by redundancy and wanted to share a little of the support I received to help other people.
Apologies again if I have caused offence to anyone, it's the last thing I would want to do at this difficult time for people. If you think my message about funded training in Hertfordshire should be taken down, please report it. If you want to find out more about course available and your eligibility please send me a message or call me at work on 01438 747491.
Kind regards and good luck to all.
  • I think this is useful advice to people and would want it left.

To the OP, I presume you would ask one of the Board Guides.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton
