Center Parcs

This year we have 2 couples going to Center Parcs for a week. We are both staying in the same villa and all 4 of us want bikes.

Now we looked at the price of hiring bikes for the week (£104 for 2 £208 for 4) and the cost of the flying start package (£65 with groceries and including 2 bikes) my question is even though we are in the same villa do you think it is possible to book 2 flying start packages Costing £130 saving nearly £80?

We should get 4 bikes and 2 lots of groceries now i have looked in the terms and conditions and no where is there where i can see it is limited to 1 per villa the only indication is you can select 1 from the website.. Do you think it is possible to book 2 packages for 1 villa if you phoned up?

Has anyone been to elveden centre parcs - just booked a midweek in may - 1st timer - are the groceries on center parc sites very expensive, not sure whether to take everything with us or get it on site when i get there.

Bit unhappy as booked break 3 days ago and signed up to email listing so they keep me up to date of any offers for future breaks and got email today of late availability for same dates £35 cheaper and if i book a larger lodge next door its £40 cheaper (when i booked i also paid the extra £35 to pick a specific lodge), understand they have right to change prices but in just 3 days that will teach me to hold off a bit longer. have sent them an email but dont expect to get anywhere

There's a Tesco and Sainsburys at Thetford about 10 minutes drive down the A11 towards Norwich.

We always take groceries with us, but buy milk, spread, bread etc when we're there (although when my dad goes he brings it all in a cooler bag). The parcmarket is more expensive than a supermarket, mainly because you don't BOGOF offers etc.

We tend to just take stuff out of our own cupboards as it doesn't cost anything at all (we put coffee and sugar in plastic pots rather than buying a new pack).

Shame about the price going down after you had booked, if you can it's good to book using the come back soon offer (within 28 days of holiday) as you get a lowest price guarantee with it.

    Enjoy your holiday! :D

P.S. If you're on facebook, this has some great tips for a first-timer:
