Mobility Bathrooms

Hello.
I am thinking of installing a "mobility" bathroom - special walk-in bath, powered riser seat etc. Unfortunately, most of the organisations I have seen want to both supply the materials and do the installation as well - for an exorbitant cost. Does anyone know of any organisations which supply these special bath aids, but lets you install them yourself, or use your own builder?

Have a word with your local council, my MIL has just had her bathroom adapted for free !, she isnt a council tenant she owns her own home.
She has two false hips and was assessed by the disability officer and means tested, he in turn put a recommendation in for a walk in shower for her so the old bath was taken out - retiled - wet floor installed and all for nothing. If ya dont ask you dont get !You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -

Thanks both.
I'll certainly try the councilo approach - I might get snagged on the means testing, but as you say, if you don't try you'll never know.
Also thanks for the supplier suggestion, which I'll definitely do some research on.
