I think most tenants would be happy to pay by standing order. failing that give them your bank account number and sort code and they can make payments direct to your bank account. The days of landlords visiting to collect cash are long gone.
Agree. We have several properties let and they all pay directly into our bank account by standing orders. It is quite normal now. There is one tenant who pays her HB in cash into my account on the due date, rather then through transfer. But we never go around knocking on doors and collecting.
