sterilising bottles question

2»

Comments

  • I've already got the pump - I'm borrowing one from a friend. She just says to buy a new tube as the manufacturer recommends a new one for each baby, so I'll have a look in the shop to see what's there (I have to check my bottles too).

I was hoping to keep it really MSE as at the moment I'm just planning to express a little every few days.

Mam do self sterilizing bottles and the teat is supposed to be more realistic than other makes. Some steam sterilisers can also be used to heat bottles and jars of baby food so you might be able to get more use out of it in future.

But breasts (areola) have montgomery's tubercles to help keep them clean. :)

You could just sterilse the bottle in a pan of boiling water, it takes 10 minutes.
