Wilsons of Epsom

I had the misfortune to buy a Citroen car from this company. And as i live 2 hour return journey from them its proving hard to get back up to them.
The car itself is lovely but the before and after sales are appalling.

Picked up the car, it was going to be a taxi, took it to be tested, ready for a taxi, but the windscreen washer wouldn't work. Even though this was meant to have had a "full service" the day before. Phoned up to the company to complain about it and the operator was really rude to me. So along with a few other problems that we had with the car, the valeting left sticky coke on the seatbelt in the ceiling, crisps under the seat and in the pull down holders just to name a few.

Goggled Wilsons and found major complaints about the after sales, so figured that i would go to the boss to see if i could resolve some of the other problems that i have had regarding the sales and the car, so sent a letter to the managing director, who sent a letter telling me the manager of Wilsons would be in touch regarding the problems that ive had with the seats and other bits. All i got was a patronising letter telling me to bring the car in, no other contact other then the letter, so again i sent a letter to the managing director explaining that i was not happy with the letter, though i am not sure what i am after, he replied basically telling me tough. Thats it.

Normally i wouldn't bother any more, but feel that i should as it has cost me money to fix things that should have been done. Though on a plus side Wilmoths in Folkestone have been fantastic, so why is there such a difference in service in Citroen dealers.
Just wanted a moan really before i decide what to do next. Unless anyone has any ideas?

Take the car back to them to get it sorted out, just like they have asked you to do.

  • If only it was that simple i would.

I had to pay to have it revaleted, ive paid to have it reserviced as how can i be sure that they have serviced it. the car light bulb was saying that it hadnt been serviced when they said it had. I needed the car to earn money so needed to get the washer fixed asap before i could get my taxi licence, so it had to be fitted in that day.
It is over a 2 hour round trip, not to mention the cost of petrol to go to the garage, for things that should have been done.

And to cap it all off writing this post ive burnt my rice:mad:

Doesnt matter anyway, have decided to phone the managing director on monday instead.
