I told the supervisor that, but it was either hand over the receipt or don't use the voucher .... not a difficult choice :p

well back from mr t .....and ive had my first bad experience...the sa said to me when i handed voucher there is no way you got 16.78 back from the 6 items you bought i said yes i did she said something fishy going on shouting loudly "just not possible" called her supervisor over who she went on to tell her there is no way she got this much back and she just replied if the numbers match sign the reciept and put in till nothing we can do about it,by this time a queue had formed and i was bright red ....i just quickly grabbed my stuff and left real quick with my new reciept of course for all my lovely over priced salmon.

Had a similar experience yesterday (my first DTD aswell). SA didn't know what to do & called supervisor. Supervisor said this isn't the receipt as the voucher is for more than the receipt. I had to explain tesco goods were £14 & would have cost £5 at asda so £18 DTD. I also explained about the receipt numbers, she signed it & stormed of saying nice for them to have told me! I hope my other experiences will be better.
    Next year we'll be millionaires!

    help

when your talking about the £20 cap, do you mean that i should make sure that the receipt that i input does not have more than £20 worth of difference.

    thanks

The difference should be around the £10 mark, as it will be doubled up to a max of £20.

The ones in my store insist that they have to keep the receipt, even when I said that that was not the way it was supposed to work ;)

Well unless theres an item on there for which you actually NEED to keep the receipt then its not worth arguing but as you say its not what they are meant to do.

I do hope you are joking. Its agains the terms and conditions and is one of the major issues with head office from what I've been told. If you wish this gift horse to continue, it might be an idea not to do it.

how are people reusing the vouchers when the voucher has the recipt details, and when they see that same two voucher has been use can they not track you guys down using your IP address??

We aren't !!! At least, I don't think we are (other than a couple of people who have asked some very leading questions and MIGHT have been up to something dodgy!). We are just recycling legitimate vouchers by using them for another 'shop' & getting another lot of shopping that comes up on the checker as cheaper in Asda and then using the newly generated legitimate voucher on a third shop ..... ad infinitum (with a bit of luck)
