    chin up everyone. :)

    FRI ONE IN! :D

I've just rechecked one I've been waiting for since fri, while I say waiting I didn't think it had been 'submitted' because I've kept trying to submit it since fri and it just kept 'bouncing' and staying on the 'your reciept details, price check details page'

Well just tried to submit again and it went straight to 'sorry blah blah asda was cheaper, will send you dtd! :j

so keep trying everyone and good luck!

If one had a genuine receipt however one knew that a voucher would not be issued by Tesco in respect of such genuine receipt as one was already over the £100 monthly limit ........... then presumably taking steps to have Tesco issue a voucher in respect of such genuine receipt would be a form of deception?

Where this argument falls down is that Tesco knowingly send you the voucher even though your account is over the limit.

Tesco may in the past have even issued vouchers for over £100, HOWEVER, currently it appears that £100 limit is being applied.

If you check back through the thread to friday you will find Tesco are rejecting claims because the "claim" takes one over £100, so i do not think your statement is currently accurate

Of course it is possible that their email server is struggling to cope with the volume and is prioritising communications to stores etc before sending these out when the internet is quieter (or they have hit their monthly Broadband data limit under their fair use policy and are now restricted :rotfl:).

Don't know who will actually be doing it , but noticed that this thread is getting close to the 10000 post mark and we're filling it quite rapidly so it will soon be time to start a new thread

Would it be worth us rewriting the first post (since the pricechecker search part doesn't exist any more!) and adding an FAQs section for things like the 24 hour clock, missing digits, time to process, etc?

It cant be anything to do with going over the limit as my problem is with an email address that hasnt even had a voucher yet, transaction was a cash one with no clubcard and my router is unplugged every night. It must be a glitch.

    Uhm, can anyone help?

Does turning your router on and off every night generate a new IP address then? Isn't that how couponstar etc track who has printed off their coupons? Mine is always on and off put they still seem to know I have printed the coupons so presumed my IP address stays the same?

I am mainly asking as I am an avid competition fan, and have always assumed my entries could be tracked when they say one entry per household. I've also assumed that this is how Tesco could keep tabs on this promotion if they wanted to?

Anyone who knows a bit more about technical stuff I would appreciate your input.

Is that the way to go - just use loads of temporary clubcards?

But how do you get to use the points??? Are you going to register all the temporary CCs to your own address?
Tesco last year made a pre tax profit of £3.4 Billion if that's a UK billion it works out at
£3,400,000,000,000 that works out at 170,000,000,000 £20 vouchers, so I dont think she has anything to worry about I seriously think this DTD offer wont make much of a dent in their £3.4 Billion profit,

I think my maths is right?

I think we can try though  :rotfl:

Is nobody concerned about the legality of using a receipt for something you haven't personally bought (wombling)? Any views on this?

There was a news article about someone doing this for charity
