Tesco/Asda Pricechecker finds here (Thread 2)

There seems to be a bit of misinformation floating around in regards to fraud and terms and conditions, which hopefully I can help to clarify. People that have knowingly been using vouchers which have already been used, have committed an act of fraud, there’s no real difference between using a voucher which has been knowingly used and handing over a £20 note which you know is a forgery, doing either will land you in court when you are caught, and given the amount of CCTV in use in Tesco it will only be a matter of time before you are identified.

I think it would be unlikely that they would prove anything through CCTV, unless they have a good image of each till at all times. Also no sure whether it would stand up in court. I thought it would be more likely they could trace you thorugh your IP address once it eventually comes to light that a voucher has been used twice.
Either way though, there should be no need to abuse this promotion by reprinting vouchers. You can do very well out of it by playing within the rules.0 -

Well done to you, how about naming and shamingTESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
In response to DTDfanboy
Sorry can't seem to quote such a long post from my iPhone
Sure going over the £100 pound isn't a criminal offense but tesco could sue you in a civil court ???
I think they would more likely try to ban you from Tesco - much cheaper than launching a civil court action against you and less chance of terrible PR for Tesco! Of course, the ban would also not be backed by the law of the land, you wouldn't be breaking the law if you subsequently set foot in a Tesco store.0 -
Sorry that was me saying vouchers in, and after a long gap saying in a couple of hours, but i got it wrong. If you don’t speculate, you can’t accumulate. :beer:0

I have just spoken to Tesco customer services and was told there had been some technical problems which have now been resolved, however there is a backlog.
I was assured that the voucher will arrived by "Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest" so fingers crossed.
If they're stalling it usually means something is going on!!0 -

Hehe! No chance.
I'm not on here to make enemies; only friends. I want everyone to get a good deal. If I miss out long-term, I don't mind, as I don't ladder climb by stepping on others. I find people on here so friendly and they've saved me thousands!
But naming is wrong, as everyone is entitled to their opinion. Whether I agree with them, is my decisionI am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
