Not posted on this thread before, so please be gentle!

I bought the Banana Boat Sun Ultraspray from Tesco at the weekend for £12 (it's £5 in Asda). I didn't get DTD on it. I searched the thread and see someone posted about it before and it was suggested they were different sizes. I went to my local Asda and saw the product, and they are the exact same, and it's definitely £5. So just wanted to warn people of this one. I am in two minds whether to take the £12 sun cream back (but also don't have much of a brass neck and feel it's the chance I took!).

I did notice Tilda 1kg basmati rice on special on Asda website for £3. It's £4.49 in Tesco so looks like a good deal (£2.98 DTD).

Do the prices instore generally reflect the prices on the web? I have just been checking the web for prices before I go to the shops.
I would return it to T with a reason not about DTD eg wrong goods purchased. This is what I would do as i couldnt afford to lose difference of £7

    hth
    Shop one - A vs T
    Shop two - A vs W
    And then repeat :j:j:j
    & now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So does that mean we can only input 10 receipts a month to check or just claim 10 dtd vouchers? I'm always popping in for bits and pieces!

Submitting a receipt is "making a claim", even if it comes back as a "tesco was cheaper"

That's what my calculator tells me, too.

Take your calculator back - price is £1.51 for one or £3.02 for 2 !!

Ooooo what's this about £5 co-op voucher? I've one of those I printed £5 off £30 and had intended to go to co-op to use it. Do I understand that I can use it in T's? And can I use it when I spend my dtd voucher and does it have to be a £30 spend. Sorry so many questions but excited!!! :rotfl:

I used it yesterday in Tesco. The are supposed to honour any other supermarket's voucher as long as you adhere to the T&Cs on it e.g. spend at least £30.

However, I think it's up to the store manager's discretion. It may depend on whether there is a Co-op store around i.e. competiton for Tesco.

I just handed over the Co-op voucher in Tesco and said 'you honour competitor's vouchers, don't you?'

And regarding returning things that come back n/a - I think that's a bit out of order. You're all getting so much for so little, it seems a bit tight to be doing this. Just my opinion and will probably be a lot of you disagree but aren't you better off only buying things you actually want, then if you don't get the DTD then it's just a couple of pounds down on an already pretty hefty profit in a lot of cases....

Everyones different, I'm of the opinion that you are buying these items having seen the signs on the way into the shop offering you double the difference if you buy something in tesco which is cheaper in asda.

So if you buy them and then find out after they are cheaper in asda but tesco cant find them despite them clearly showing on the ASDA website then i think you are entitled to return them... (just dont tell tesco thats the reason you are returning them as apparently thats not allowed)

That works out better than the DTD

Sorry, a bit off topic but to anyone thinking of getting the Airwick Freshmatic iMotion Lavender and Camomile - I wouldn't recommend it even if it works out free when you factor in DTD.

It's absolutely vile, I have just thrown mine out as I could not bear the smell of it - thankfully I've got a load of plug-ins, touch and fresh and 3volutions from a few weeks ago, all of which are lovely (the Ambi pur reed thingy smells nice but was a bit overpowering as well I thought)
