No roast spud with goose fat ( I too was looking at the wrong place!). Not in the frozen section ( they only have beef "droppings" :D with spuds in the freezer) did not think to check the chilled section.

No lamb, No Betty, plenty of razors:cool:. After 8 still scanned @ £3.05.

That was so lucky. I was going to try wombling today but just felt too embarrased to pick up receipts from other trolleys. Maybe if I go early one morning.

Have you ever seen the legally blonde films - the main character Elle uses a "bend and snap" manouvre - which I have adapted for wombling. lol Basically its grab and go and I NEVER feel embarrassed. Just pretend its blown out of your purse and you are trying to catch it in the wind. Wombling can be profitable - my average daily Asda wombles were around £3 but at the moment am able to use in both Asda and then Tesco (as they are accepting Asda) so around £6 a day average. Thats over £40 a week. Havent had much luck with Tesco wombling - a very clean car park but I still keep my eyes peeled. My wombling pays for nice meat and have stocked up nicely on toiletries, store cupboard and laundry courtesy of dtd. I love it all.

Also, quick q: has anyone given the voucher to the delivery driver of an online order? and if so do you give them the original note as well or they just need to see it? I have a large voucher of close to £100 from when all of this started and I need to use it, but would rather place an order for this amount... advice?? thank you!

anyone with experience in this that can share? thank you!

    Never been so embarrassed.

My and OH both did a shop with vouchers, got to the till and the SA had never seen the vouchers before, I told her what has happened in the past but as there was a digit missing on the voucher she called for a supervisor who also pointed out the missing digit. I said I think that was normal but he wasn't too sure but knows 'this has happened before' so marched me to CS with my shopping etc. I felt the eyes all looking.

We got the CS desk and guess what, she didn't know how to process them either and a colleague who is on his break needs to check it, 'he is due back any minute'. I advised the SA supervisor that he better go back to the till I was on as my 'Sister' was using a voucher aswell. He marched of back to the till and told the OH to head over to the CS desk.

In the end the CS girl went to find her 'colleague' and then minutes later she returned annd promptly processed the vouchers with no problems. She appologised and off we went. As we walked of we heard her say to another colleague 'this does annoy me, if they introduce these things why can't they tell us how to process them?'

OH well ,another two DTD shops completed :)

CS at local Tesco said that this scheme is changing tomorrow. She wouldn't explain any further - she also asked me when did I print off the voucher I used - it was quite a small voucher from a genuine shop so shouldn't have caused a problem.

Anyone else on here has a similar comment made to them or anyone on here know anyone who works for T?

I have indeed seen the bend and snap manoeuvre :D, the problem is all the receipts I saw were inside big lanes of trolleys and would have been obvious whatever I did. Will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled though.
