Tesco/Asda Pricechecker finds here (Thread 2)

Back from Mr T and just a reminder to everyone that if SEL is lower than expected always try and double check price by scanning! Yesterday SEL for Domestos rim blocks said £1.00 and it scanned at 1.99 so bought 4 and got DTD instore for 7.92 in cash! Today I checked and they had removed SEL for Lavender but not pine so got another 4 and again DTD in cash!!! Quicker than doing it by email and waiting a day!

Just be aware that SEL's LIE!!!:eek:

The 200g can be had for £1 (i.e. nowt) at ASDA. Not as good as being paid....and less of it...but another option.

When you scan are you doing so with the app on your phone or a tesco scanner?

Did a shop yesterday and just got voucher back! This was only the second one I have done, first one I spent £11 something and got £7.92 back. This was the first time I had taken my mum though. We only bought stuff we would use normally and would (potentially if other items hadnt been on offer) have paid that price for the items anyway if we had needed them if that makes any sense. Basically I didnt want to spend twice as much for something that we didnt really need incase the dtd didnt work. The first few of the items on the list were just bought cos were needed
