Morning all! Just been for my first visit to T, they hadn't restocked the Gillette ProGlide for once (how rude), so I got some other DTD bits and used just the one voucher - the SA didn't even ask for the receipt, just scanned it. I also forgot to prompt her (was sleepy) - but it's ok, I only ever print each voucher once so no danger of me using it again.

I'll probably pop along to the city centre one at lunchtime. Might also go to a totally different T tomorrow, ooh the excitement! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi, does anyone know if this has been confirmed?

    T £2.02 - A 2 for £2.00 DTD = £4.08

Omg, my shop tonight was a big fail!! I went to use 2 x £20 vouchers.

Took my 2 lists, expecting everything to be in stock as it has been up to now (mistake #1)

Got off to a bad start in Meat when there was no sign of lamb rack or its SEL, no Jamie Oliver sausages either.

So i'm staring at my printed list wondering !!!!!! to do and my brain getting muddled with too many numbers, so i got and get 4 Bettys and 8 Napolina. Then realised i couldn't work it out without a pen (lol!) so rang home to get oh on board and get him to look at the spreadsheet...

He stays on phone adding up my DTD potential of my 2 shops (in one trolley) and announces i'm done so go to checkout... I went to self service (mistake #2), and obv it couldn't be scanned so supervisor took me to a manned till. Well poss the worst manned till she could have used as the checkout woman was wanting to know the far end of a fart

    "how did you get these?"
"how have you got it for so much?"
"so do you find certain things on purpose so you can claim?"
"so do you have to buy it all in Asda too?"
"do you get the reciept back?"
"What do i have to write on the receipt?"
"aren't Tesco losing a fortune on this?"
    "how come you've got 2?"
"are you collecting the schools vouchers?"
    "have you got a clubcard?"

*all the while suspiciously staring at me*

I'm like omfg get me out of here, i can't handle the interrogation :eek:

Shop #2 comes to less than my voucher (mistake #3) so i run and get an Easter Egg for £1.

I also forgot to use my Betty 30p off coupons (mistake #4). Get home to work it out myself to find that oh added it up wrong and shop #1 will only give me £16 back grr (mistake #5)

Sooo for someone who created (several) spreadsheets to avoid getting flustered in the shop i failed EPICALLY!!!!:mad:

Awwwwwww, have a hug. :( If it helps, I will have about £23 DTD from yesterday evening's shop but a capped £20 voucher - the Betty Crocker coupons meant that I had to buy something else to take it over the £16 voucher total. blush.gifblush.gif Ah well!

What's the reason you need to buy more than 1 for some of them? Noticed on the spreadsheet that some say buy 2 or buy 3.

Because some of A's deals are buy 2 for £2, or 3 for £3 and you need to compare the price for buying 2 or 3.

To get the offer to work. For example the Dettol surface spray is £2.02 in Tesco and in Asda, or 2 for £2 in Asda. So you pay £2 for 2 in Asda or £4.04 in Tesco for 2. If you only buy 1 in asda you wont get anything back.

The Dettol spray is a good example. Buy one apple one from Asda and it would have been £2.29 and therefore Mr T is cheaper, but buy 2 and they would be £2.00. As 2 in Tesco would be £4.50, you get £5.00 DTD rather than the £0.00 you would have got if you only buy 1.

if it's buy 2, then it's probably on offer at tesco (3 for 2). in this case, you wouldn't want a deduction/special offer to kick in as it would lower your DTD voucher.

if it's buy 3, then it's probably on offer at asda. e.g. 3 for £5. in this case, buying 3 products will increase your DTD voucher as the offer won't be on at tesco.
