well, dtd itself was fine, 3 shops(2 dtd, 1 normal) with 3 vouchers, one after another(in case someone is wondering if 2 separate transactions are ok)... The same SA I had two times before, she looked at the stuff and asked if it's mine, I said yes, but want to pay separately please
presented first voucher and she was like wow where do you get them from? I said Tesco very nicely gives them to me
did all 3 no problemo
freezer half full with lamb now
starting on the cod steaks now... and magnums
anyway: got home, on to mse and what I see?? Tesco express selling 24 cans of beer/cider for 4GBP!!!!! Off I go, shelfes empty! arghhh... Found some cans at the entrance, went to SC and that damn thing wants approval because it's bl**dy alkohol! Manager came and said she can only sell 1 or 3 multipacks because "there is something wrong with the offer" I said I WANT TWO! lol she knew I knew but didn't give up... well, mr T owns me a good deal on beer now I think

Oh, and he must think I'm a bit dim as he is trying to tell me he has only been buying Apples, Bananas and rolls - for £12 in about 3 days? Don't think so hunnnny. Doesn't seem to care that we are moving soon and need to save as much as we can for the new mortgage.
Don't sound mad at all, do I. :rotfl:
LOL. It's not safe to let your OH out on his own, have you not seen the cautionary tales on this and the previous thread??? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Ok cheers that makes sence.. only asked as in my mind I read the offer as tesco saying "if we are not cheaper than asda then I will refund double the diffrence"
So if they are both the same price for the item then tesco are not cheaper.
But cheers for clearing it up for me
You need to seek out items where Tesco are way dearer than Asda, preferably twice as dear or more (then you will get it free or they'll pay you to take it). Read the first page of this thread. Just feel thankful yours even goes to the supermarket. The only time mine sets foot inside one is if it's our wedding anniversary/ my birthday etc and he needs something cheap to give me (usually still in the carrier). Lol! Men!If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0 -

Oh, he didn't go in to get normal shopping; only his "lunches" during his lunch break, hence I can't control that . No trouble there with him doing a normal shop.0 -

I've seen a few people mention that they don't normally arrive on a Friday? How about Saturday?
I've got about £100 worth outstanding that I'm hoping to receive in the next couple of days, plus potentially a few more that I will submit tomorrow...
Hoping to have them in time for Saturday afternoon so I can take my Mum out shopping and stock her cupboards up for her... (a shop each in 2 stores will use up £80 worth)
Anyone any idea on the above?
Also, not sure whether I've messed up on a couple of them. I didn't have my CC with me so when she asked if I wanted the receipt signing to add the points on I must have agreed without realising. They're signed specifically next to the points section - is this going to stop them being accepted with the voucher? (there is one SA that never checks the receipt so if it will be an issue I'll use them at her checkout - I always rip up the used receipt anyway!)
Cheers,0 -
Can someone point me in the right direction to get this 30p voucher for Betty crocker pancake mix please!?
Also, does using the voucher mean you get less DTD as it's 30p cheaper or does it not take voucher into account?
Thanks!0
