Going to sound really thick here but Im going to tesco tomorrow for the first time since this offer has been on, but somthing i carn't work out is if the price is the same in Tesco/Asda do I still get double the diffrence back?
Or does asda have to be 1p+ more expensive?
i don't think i understand
if the different is £0.00 then you don't get any difference back as there is no difference0 -

I am really cheesed off. I have just found out that DH has been buying "stuff" for lunches from Somerfield and Sainsburys knowing full well I've been doing DTD at Tesco.
"But I got x number of Muller Lights for £x.xx darling" - well I could have got them FREE!!! Buy more stuff at your peril.
Oh, and he must think I'm a bit dim as he is trying to tell me he has only been buying Apples, Bananas and rolls - for £12 in about 3 days? Don't think so hunnnny. Doesn't seem to care that we are moving soon and need to save as much as we can for the new mortgage.
Don't sound mad at all, do I. :rotfl:0 -

If an Apple is 10p in Asda and 15p in Tesco the difference is 5p, Tesco will give you double the 5p difference so you will get 10p back.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

Sorry your shop didn't work out as planned. Did you SIL take all the Betty stuff right in front of you???gosh thought my day has been bad! thats totally unacceptable, write back and say that its not good enough and that unprofessional accusatory behaviour is exactly what puts people off buying in tesco. Tell him his response isn't good enough and you will be writing to the CEO-whats his name again..?:D
I agree. jtz, you need to kick up a bigger fuss!!!lovetowinacar wrote: »Just returned from my local Tesco and the people who are persisting in committing fraud by photocopying the vouchers or reprinting and using again are going to get this DTD scheme pulled and in the meantime are making it really awkward for the majority of genuine who are using this - tonight the SA called a supervisor who explained they had been instructed by HO to carefully check all vouchers and receipts and sign receipts since there are a couple of individuals who are using reprinted vouchers.:o
Please please don't do this and spoil it for everyone else on here who are enjoying this great promotion
I really can't believe that there are people doing this.:mad::mad::mad::mad: THERE IS NO NEED!!! Ok cheers that makes sence.. only asked as in my mind I read the offer as tesco saying "if we are not cheaper than asda then I will refund double the diffrence"
So if they are both the same price for the item then tesco are not cheaper.
But cheers for clearing it up for me0 -
huggies dry nites t 4.50 a 3.00 dtd 3.00 only buy one t has 2 for 8.00 not confirmed0
-
sorry no experience but would have thought you should be able to
adamccance had a similar experience with the babybels-he may be able to confirm if he got the price checK DTD as well-perhaps he could advise?
also tara has had same joy with razors today i expect she will defo be entering reciepts too?
it doesn't say in T&C you can't combine the 2 promotions?just try entering your receipt, only problem may come when come to use the voucher if receipt is already scribbled on
No, I wouldn't, in effect, claim twice for the same receipt, scribbled on or not. Mine wasn't touched, but it didn't even occur to me to enter it into the price check system. I bought one with my normal DTD shopping, noticed the price error then went back and cleared the shelves on a separate receipt. Claimed on the second shop and got DTD cash at Customer Services. Receipt went in the bin. Original DTD shop went into price check system as normal.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0
