Just got back from Tesco Kings Lynn and they now confiscated the cash back vouchers if they have ANY KIND OF returns on them!!!
Doesn't matter if the return has nothing to do with DTD it will still be taken!!!
I TOOK BACK A JUMPER AND THEY TOOK MY £20 VOUCHER!! No good arguing they said instructions had come down from head office and as the vouchers all belong to Tesco this is what they will be doing from now on!!
The manager showed me the memo which said too many people were abusing the offer so returns have to be stopped as if they don't stop the cash back offer WILL BE PULLED!!

But you can't use a DTD voucher if you've already returned items on the accompanying receipt...Don't get it. Do you mean they took your receipt when returning stuff? How can they take your voucher.... ? I mean, If I am going to return things, I won't bring my voucher. How would they know you have vouchers anyway?! LOL
By the way, those who returns stuff which came up as N/F are plain spoil sports. Win much, lose some. Accept it. All part of the game and excitement me thinks. I have a 12.24 bottle of Olay which was N/F and on my first ever serious DTD shop too. Well, I am using it now and 'raking' in the other stuff via DTD. I just made sure I double checked everything before I goSo far so good.
I see what you mean, but to me Tesco are the ones abusing the promotion if they refuse to honour a DTD when the item in question is sold at Asda!! So I have returned a couple of things that have come back N/F despite being sold at Asda (only where there's nothing else on the receipt obviously!).
I don't see anything wrong with it, I'm not benefiting from it or scamming Tesco as no DTD is involved. I tell CS that I just bought the wrong thing.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

An interesting afternoon.
Two shops
Tesco 1 -
Cashier: What am I meant to do with this?
Me: Scan it
Cashier: Maureen get over here please, don't know what I'm doing.
Maureen: Never done one myself to be honest. Lock it off and I'll take it to the CS Desk.
CS Desk: Ooh I've heard of them
CS Desk Manager: Explaining to CS Desk Advisor: You check the bottom, and if they match it is fine. This doesn't - so it isn't
Me: Why doesn't it match?
CS Desk Manager: The Time
Me: 24 Hour Clock
CS Desk Manager: Well I guess it could be. Okay I'll let it go
CS Desk Manager to CS Desk: You must always keep the receipts.
Tesco 2
Get some other after eights and other stuff. Go to counter. To my horror find half the numbers on my receipt are unreadable because it has been stuck in my pocket. Young lad not seen one.
Young Lad: Paul, what do I do with these?
Paul: Just scan it
No looking at my receipt, which I ripped up after I was outside of the store. Cue for my young lad to ask out loudly 'why didn't we just get the after eights when we were in the other Tesco?':rotfl:
Question please: Anybody ever had their shopping moved to CS Desk, and had to pay there with their voucher. Will the receipt still work for tomorrows shop?
ThanksAsk me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

AngelsMadv wrote: »Oh testicles! I've been working on a SS all afternoon based on the original one. I assumed you were all waiting for this but I guess not. It has columns for people to select how many they want and then see the total cost and potential dtd voucher. The list I had was up to date as of last night.
Would anyone like this now or have you all been modifying the previous?
Let's have both, we can always check online prices. Where is it??
Thanks0 -
Bunbun cant you just use your DTD voucher to get your shop and then return your clothing? That way they cant take it off you if you have already spent it! I think this rule is slightly harsh when it comes to clothing or anything that is n/f or n/a! And to the poster who said try it on beforehand that can be impossible when shopping with a 2 year old so I never try anything on! Also if you are buying for kids who are in school?:xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!
