Tesco/Asda Pricechecker finds here (Thread 2)

I queried the lack of a match for the Olay day cream & received the following response from CS
"as the items you purchased are cosmetic items, these are automatically excluded from our Price Check promotion as our promotion does not include any non-grocery categories whether available in store or online or in any store concessions."
I wonder is this a change in policy or just a random excuse for this lack of match?
People seem to have been getting matches on other Olay products, shampoo etc.
Maybe this will now change.........

makes them around a £1 each, sounds a lot after Turner road lol but a much smaller lay out which means it easier to bulk buy

Think I'll try that today- lovely for Mum and MIL's gifts fir Sunday.

They just try to fob us off... Cos when I called HO about my missing receipt that couldnt be located, I was told the things I bought are not comparable, so thats why they cannot find the receipt.
Things i bought were lamb, teabags, herbal essence, some soft drinks, olay...
and we know thats not true..

I think they are trying to diddle the taxman if the receipt cannot be found, myself I had 4 separate shops at that particular Tesco...

its an excuse....i bought a toy with my DTD shopping last week that was reduced in Tesco but never ocurred to me for one minute it would match as its not grocery...low and behold it matched and as it was £7 more in Asda i didnt get as much back as was expecting...hmm maybe i should ring and tell them not to price match the toy as per the T&C's!!!!

No good - doesn't work on Price Check - OH tried a receipt - luckily not a dtd shop - said Express not included in dtd...

I think with all the problems we get when using our vouchers maybe we can get a HO phone number we can call from our mobiles..found one here 01382 822700..
