Just back froma shop, took DM with me who I think yet again has upset my calculations. This time she used her clubcard, despite the original receipt not having one, I also used the clubcard as they are linked so does mean I can't input the receipt tonight?
    TIA

Could anyone possibly confirm if its ALL of the Herbal Essences Shampoo/Conditioners in Asda at £1.50 that are working on the DTD? Or is it only certain kinds? Have seen them mentionned so often on this thread and have lost track......thanks in advance

Can confirm the hydration one (blue bottle) works on shampoo and conditioner.

Does anyone actually know for sure if using your clubcard on lots of these transactions has any comeback? Or are we just playing safe?

just found another new one to try tomorrow

Rubicon 1lt cartons 2 for £2 in asda - £1.48 each in t, so buy 2 and get £1.96 back costing £1.04 for 2 cartons.
I like this so will be treating myself and hoping the dtd pays up.

PS only buy 2 any more and the 3 for £3 would come in and the dtd will be effected

Sorry if this has already been said but wouldn't it be better to buy the 3 for £3 as otherwise it would actually be more expensive doing it this way? (Unless you really don't want 3 cartons, I suppose)

    has anyone considered/confirmed this?

    TESCO: Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc £8.79

ASDA: Nobilo Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc £5.48

DTD of £6.62 so cost of 2.17

It is the same wine but asda has an extra word- what do you guys think?
    [/QUOTE

Think Mr T will have a "word" for you

Seems a good one to me and My Supermarket... Direct comparison.
Marlborough is the wine region, the description is simply fuller. Beware of ranges like La Chasse which have very similar labels but different grape blends.

:rotfl:that was me the other day! tesco approved the comparison of it though- they were completely different wines :rotfl:

I might be a little tired but thought this way its only 52p per carton instead of £1 a carton, do correct me if my maths is wrong though :)

today at lunchbreak at work i had a quick catch up, made a list of things we buy weekly and went this evening after work...

got home and went to do the price check thing... and as i entered my reciept it said you cant use date. I then noticed that my receipt from this evening has date of 31.03.11 !!!!!

    HMMMM

Ha, I wouldn't be at all surprised if I've got it wrong as maths isn't my strong point (and it is quite late to be doing this) but I am thinking:

    £1.48 x 2 = £2.96 at Tesco, £2 at Asda, DTD = £0.96 x 2 = £1.92 meaning you have spent £1.02 per carton whereas if you bought 3 for £3 you would only have spent £1 per carton.

On the other hand it is quite late enough for me to be doing maths homework so I am quite prepared to believe your calculation, too! :)

Off to bed for me, I think!
