can someone advise how to do a return on something that didn't work?

(i have searched the other thread for 'returns' but couldn't find an answer.:o

I've got a voucher from a shop but want to return an item that was n/a. if i return it before i use my voucher they will scribble on the barcode on the receipt, i think i can't return it after i use the voucher because they keep the reciept?

1) I must be putting incorrect info on system - WRONG :mad:
2) Give them the details they will try - ITS HAPPENING TO THEM AS WELL (surprise surprise) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
3) They cannot do anymore as its online and I already recieved the email above ^ - IT SAYS TO TRY IT AGAIN WITH LINK GIVEN IN EMAIL TO DO SO!! :p:p
4) I ask if they can tell me if it will happen again when I do a shop either online or instore? - THEY HAVE NO INFO ON THIS AND CANNOT HELP ME ANYMORE AND THIS PRICE CHECKER WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN INCENTIVE FOR CUSTOMERS TO SHOP THERE AS ITS SUPPOSEDLY CHEAPER!!

So I can only conclude that something Tesco set up which only works for some of the time and not for me, that most of the country can and will use and presently tesco have NO idea how to sort the price checker out to work for all, so GOODBYE TESCO - you have lost a customer and BY THE WAY....
