Yikes! Just got back from big tesco to spend my £20 voucher on more dtd stuff. Got to the check out, really nice cashier but she hadn't seen one before. Was literally pooping myself when she called supervisor over (never happened before) but she just smiled said its fine just scan it through. Looked at me and said 'oooh you've done really well there, I've only seen two before one for £3.00 and one for £0.02!!! Had to try and hide a smile as OH was stood behind me with a £34 one from last week!!! Spent the larger one on a normal grocery shop, can't believe how hard that was!

Odd thing is, even the supervisor didn't tell here to sign or retain my old receipt, the cashier just said 'oooh I best give you that back.' I've used countless vouchers now and yet to have one signed, just keep binning them so I don't get them mixed up.

You're in Blackpool, aren't you? I'm back in town at the weekend and don't think I can resist a DTD shop in a new store... Must resist...

Did you explain that they've been overcharging them at the till for several decades (when compared to ASDA)?

no, it was easier to bang my head against the wall :rotfl:

you know when people just "shut off" and don't listen?

not sure if that was in reply to me, but if it was, i was looking for things that are the same price in both shops.

it might sound a bit wierd:rotfl:but i want to make a shop upto £30 to use a co op voucher and don't want to dilute my dtd voucher (is that tooo sad??:D)
