thats a bit desperate isn't it???
i hope people aren't going through bins or picking receipts off the floor?

Perfectly acceptable to tesco (see latest MSE news article) The 2nd receipt was quite a long one - worth a go, as it was left in the trolley I used. The first receipt (got me nothing) was just a little one from the s/s till - I find they're often left there.

ANd my husband started a job last week after 3 months without any work - during which time the only income we had was child benefit and £10.46/ week tax credits for the 6 of us. No JSA or anything. He was also made redundant twice in 2009 within a 7 month period and had 3 months on JSA then. Desperate..? maybe.. ;)

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Kingsmill Everyday White 800g is on in Asda at £1.80 for 2 & Tesco at £2.50 for 2, so a DTD of £1.40. That makes each loaf only 55p :)

i did a double take too last night- if you read the label it has the date the comparison was made though- i think that one was weeks ago

    so misleading

I was in tescos earlier and the SEL for the elevenses also had NEW LOWER PRICE written over half of it & in small writing that they had previoulsy been £2.29 & are now £2.27- quite misleading for most shoppers I think though as you imagine you're getting a good deal as they are cheaper but you have to look very closely to see how much by and actually they're only £1 in asda

wombling - picking up receipts from the floor and entering the details to see if they qualify for DTD :) I've done this with 2 - one came up £2.02 trumps

Apparently fine to do for DTD, not necessarily so for CC points

Are you sure it's ok? folks were banned for doing this for cc points. I did pick up 2 receipts from the self servicer till as they were attached to mine - total of 2p DTD so don't think I will bother .

Finally got 2 £20's back from Sat :T. Away with work rest of week & away for weekend. Will maybe be going shopping Monday so if someone could post an up to date list last thing Sun night I'd be v grateful :D.

    Happy shopping folks

My voucher has 05:30 at the bottom, but my receipt has 17:30.

Looks like this will cause problems :(

I wont say I dont like a bit of wombling myself from time to time but if people do it for this offer Tesco will surely pull it. I am away at my sister's in Switzerland till tommorow and my dd is doing my small lists remotely. Would really like a chance for my sister and I to have a go. So wombling NOOOO!!!
