    I've been Money Tipped!
Just used my first DTD voucher - £19.46 (I did see this thread until the amount had been reduced to £20!). Spent ages working out shopping lists as I have 3 vouchers in all to use.

Checked on Mysupermarket about 5 mins before I left home. Took me 10 mins to walk to Tesco and it all started going wrong straight away. I wanted to get the Finish Quantumatic starter kit and had a £5 off voucher for this. I tested one before they went on sale and really liked it but had to send it back so I thought it was a good way to get one. None on the shelves and no space where they might be!

Then Heinz spaghetti hoops snap pots - they are showing as £1.00 each in Asda but according to the shelf label in Tesco they are £1.88 in Asda. Didn't want to risk it so then just did not know what to buy. I had only taken the one list with me so was trying to remember what was on the other lists. I ended up buying 3 bags of Iams because I have bought them before and they are definitely cheaper in Asda.

I wanted to get some normal shopping and had checked things were the same price in Asda so as not to affect my DTD but then did not dare!

I looked for a youngster at the tills but there weren't any so went to a guy mid 30's. He just said "oh what is this all about" when I handed over the voucher. I said "I could have got my shopping cheaper in Asda so I got that voucher". He then said "oh yea I have to keep the receipt don't I"? I was not sure that he did but did not want to argue and anyway I can't use the receipt again so no matter.

My shopping came to £24 in total and I am really hoping I do get another DTD voucher.

Just don't understand what Tesco are doing with their prices on their shelf labels.

  • my shopping is perfectly legit thank you

Deep sigh followed by the rolling of eyes....i'd imagine just about everybody else would rightly assume I was simply using the term loosely and I meant no offence...

    .

The £1.88 label has in v tiny print 'as at 21.03.11' - which was the day they compared they snap pot prices. They are now £1 at Asda - and I have 1/2 dozen packs of them in my cupboard, all confirmed DTD :D Kids normally have tesco's own :)

I think wombling is where you find receipts on the floor and take them to CS and ask to put the points on your clubcard.
