Just got back from Tesco. Had planned to buy the big Persil 50 wash powder as the website said it was £12.96 but only £7 in Asda. In store it was actually £9, so not such a good deal after all.

Chicago Town twinpack pizzas £1.89 each - big sign above the freezer saying 2 for £3. I bought 2 but they have scanned through as individual purchases and no discount at the end. Does anyone know if Tesco check prices against what I was actually charged or what the offer should have been (obviously I will get more back if they class these as individual pruchases).

If I enter these receipts online today will I get confirmation tomorrow or do they not work Sunday?

Plenty of Turner Road in my store. I only bought 2 as I've never had it before.

Off for an MSE night out with the family. Cinema tix paid for with Clubcard vouchers, Pizza hut paid for with leisure vouchers from surveys and snacks from the cinema that we will get DTD on.

Just got back - still plenty of roasting tins and Turner Road still scanning at £9.99 :D Just got me one of each, along with a few bits that are the same price.

So am I right in saying we can't recycle now?
Was going to get some more face cream for my mum to get DTD but use the vouchers, won't bother if I won't be allowed to DTD. :(

Has anyone contacted Customer Services about the details on their voucher varying from those on the receipt? Mine is also a bit muddled as some others have already posted about :(
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs

just went for another tesco trip with my sis, she has come out saying she will never go shopping with me again!!!

tried a small town centre store rather than the big extra one, worried they might recognise us

mixture of anxiety and utter dread and confusion (some items from our shopping list missing so we lost the plot a bit)

picked ayoung lad at till, did my sis first £33 pound voucher, he remained quite jovial to start with commenting this DTd thing was good wasn't it.

then asked if she could buy her gift card with her £70 voucher to which he said no -fair enough:(

    then comes my turn

1st shop 2 gillette power razors £19.98 -sh*t my vouchers for £20, he suggests getting an apple or something, can't be bothered so pop in tin of sweetcorn (will be going back later)anyway he took voucher no problem:D

2nd shop £20 voucher , most things added up, think i was couple quid over no problem but when he saw another voucher his face dropped, tehn he said "RIGHT" i'll just need to check terms and conditions, he read out one voucher per transaction but then didn't see anything else that would stop me using a 2nd voucher so he relented:p

3rd shop £33 voucher I TOTALLY AVOIDED EYE CONTACT THIS TIME!!!!! he quietly took the voucher, came to £38.90, gave him a NOTW £5 voucher, my sister looked like she was going to die, he said i don't know if we acccept these, then shouted a supervisor at which point my poor sis who is wetting herself and slowing getting redder and redder is pulling my arm and telling me to forget it. I said hang on just see what he says. Anyway supervisor comes back says yeah apparently we do. i was 10p short for the voucher so stuck a bag for life in, total amount to pay 0p:T:T:T

On the way out i returned a couple of fairy exel i bought yesterday paid £10 on top of voucher yesterday but my DTd was capped at £20 got my sums wrong , got money back:D

My sis is NEVER going shopping with me again!!!!

    MORAL OF THE STORY

try not to use alot of vouchers in one go, it p***es people off, although total of vouchers is below £100 limit ,do several trips or go back in and use a different cashier!

I'll try. I'm such a wimp as it is. I guess the staff in my store are never really sure 100% whats going on half the time anyway.
