Our nearest Tesco is 25 miles away, so last saturday me and OH went to do a bit of DTD shopping.. Him with a basket, me with a little trolley...
handed him 2 bottles of Turners... thats when the questions started, in the end I just said "for god sakes, just go and pay for them put them in the car and come back!!!!"
I did another 2 ss till shops...
Last night I gave him 3 DTD vouchers, all he said was... "Oh S**t, what do I do with these???" lmao..
Same thing happened with the Ham glitch... told him which one to buy, and explained to him, only buy 2, take them to the car and go back for another 2, but use another till, so cashier doesnt recognise him..
What did he do??? he bought 2, bagged it up, got all excited, left the bag in the trolley and went back to collect another 6 :eek::eek:
He then went to an elderly cashier who picked up on it... sometimes, I WISH he would listen!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I love these stories of the OH's really make me laugh...moral seems just keep them out of it.. thats wat I do, think my OH thinks im up to something as I go out every evening when he gets home.. its a good job I do come back with tesco bags each timeThe art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -
Sorry to hear thatHope you are okay. It's horrible, don't know what to do with myself, am trying to do my college work but keep coming back to here. Feel stupid for even opening my big mouth in the first place, ah well, you live and learn.
Was going to say yes I'm ok, but actually no I'm notIt is awful isnt it? Don't worry that you told people on here, I think everybody understands that when you have news like that you 'have' to tell somebody, and often you don't want to tell people in real life straight away. I went through the same thing in 2006 aswell, then it took a year to conceive again with my DD. Hoping it wont take that long again this time! Theres not alot anybody can say/do to make you feel better, even knowing that other people have been through/are going through it doesnt really comfort. Hope youre ok hun, keep your chin up, just one of mother natures nasty unfair situations

Just got back from Mr T's and think I may have screwed this up as I forgot to take a list with me. I only popped in to get rid of my £36 voucher from last week on a set of weights but couldn't find the ones I wanted
Here's my list
1 Cadbury Freddo Bar £0.17 T £0.17 A (DD was so good I had to treat her)
1 Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash (200ml) £4.59 T £3.00 A
1 Branston Mayonnaise mustard £1.52 T £1.00 A
1 Bisto Gravy granules 360g £1.38 T £1.38 A (but 2 for £2 in Asda so stuffed up here)
1 Old El Paso Fajita Kit £2.99 T £2.00 A (but also 2 for £3 in Asda, stuffed up again)
1 The Bury Black pudding slices £1.08 T £1.08 A
2 Red grapes 400g punnet 2 for £4 T 2 for £3.00 A **CONFIRMED**
1 Huggies Baby wipes Natural Care £2.59 T (no longer BOGOF) £1.00 A **CONFIRMED**
1 Dettol Spray Cleaner £2.29 T £2.29 A but bought wrong one as Apple is 2 for £2 in Asda and I bought citrus
1 Airwick Reed Diffuser black £6.13 T £6.13 A again bought the wrong one its the Silk orchid thats one offer
1 Glenfiddich 12 YO Malt Whisky 70cl £28.79 T £32.97 A Watch this one, I didn't realise Asda had put it up.
1 Olay Anti Wrinkle Aqua Physics Anti-Ageing Day Cream £10.10 T £4.00 A (if it works)
Grand total is £65.73 Tescos £58.02 Asda so if everything matches it should be a voucher for around £14 although if I'd been better prepared I could have organised it better and got more for my money
TESCO have but the baby wipes back on BOGOF:(0 -

I wouldn't don a balaclava and screech up to the main doors to steal the binbag out of the bin just yet! I've wombled quite a few receipts so far and not yet had one that has been more expensive in Tesco due to their selective comparisons.0 -
