  • Just re entered yesterday's receipt to see if anything there yet. I've got the message as if it's the first time it's been entered!!!!! Starting to feel unlucky now. No reply from Sunday's with a different email, and this one now playing up.
  • have been a bit slow on the up take, but am hoping to make up for lost time! couple of quick questions- is there a limit to the number of receipts you can get in one day? and any "bargin" easter eggs anyone has come across? very grateful for all your help!

i wont use it for the girly bits, i use it to blow my nose with.

That's just as bad!! Your nose would be in bits using that sandpaper lol. I tend to use kitchen roll when I have a cold, it's pretty soft and also stronger than ordinary tissues. :T

It's not bad - I've bought it before and will do so again if still on BOGOF when I do a non-dtd shop. It's not as soft as, say, Andrex - but I find some really soft ones disintegrate and leave fluff balls behind!!

PMSL!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Post of the day so far imho.
Sorry for raking over old ground but just back online before bed as I have an interview tomorrow that I've been prepping for and noted that my forum nemesis had reappeared.

I am sorry if you found my comments earlier relatively inane although I do see some relevance in them especially in your later point highlighting the plight of the farmers and heroic actions in trying to secure a Pizza Express voucher for some poor urchin who might need it. For info, I am 39 but am pleased that you appear to believe I have an outlook that's somewhat younger than that - it makes me feel quite proud!

Unfortunately, as a result of the economic situation in dear old Blighty, my role was made redundant at the start of this year and after a few years of excess and frittering away my salary in my 20's I came into my 30's with a different outlook of trying to save rather than spend. So, I signed up for MSE and saved some money, something I'm really grateful I have done since it's tough to find a job nowadays (although if you are indeed a YSM then I'm sure there's a role for you out there) and this Tesco loophole is one that I've been keen to use to my advantage. So, with my parents and neighbours help, I have, in full compliance of Tesco's own T&C's now got plenty of wine and other drinks so that I can invite friends over for BBQ's in the Spring & Summer, meat in the freezer to cook and enjoyed food which I haven't been able to for the past few months.

Anyway, the moral of my story is this - thanks to the good folk on this thread (present company excepted) I have been able to live beyond my means and yet within my means paradoxically these past two weeks and I tell you what, it has given me a new found confidence so for that, I am really grateful and I feel much more happy about the society and communities I inhabit.

Whereas you appear to look down on people like me and others on the thread who have managed to upgrade their lifestyle albeit temporarily, I can assure you that between the two of us, the feeling is entirely mutual!

What a great post simon31leeds, and I wish you every luck in your job hunt. :A

LOL this made me chuckle. That's probably something my dad would do. I think it's just something to do with the male species. They fail to see the bigger picture. :p

We'd already had a chuckle together about other OH's on here straying from the list......and what does he do? And his maths is better then mine!

This might be useful to those who like me, having been waiting since Friday for our vouchers. Item 11 of Tescos T & C's

Is the price check made for the date of the shop or at the time of entering receipt details?
The price check comparison with ASDA products is for the date of the shop, rather than at the time of entering receipt details.

Assume as you have 28 days in which to submit your receipt details, Tesco must be able to find out prices charged by Asda over a 28 day period. So, happy days hopefully!

what a ridiculous thing to say - of course it is not fraud.

The original poster was charged the correct price for the wine and recompensed by Tesco for the fact that a wrong shelf edge price was displayed in accordance with their policy.

He then quite legitimately entered his receipt details to take advantage of the, separate, price match promotion.

Nothing wrong with that. If Tesco's took their pricing integrity more seriously it wouldn't have happened.
    here we go again,

please please can we keep to the humour, fun and occisional DTD? keep "fraud" to pm and the mods. ta
