I never got an email for my friday shop either, but when I reinput the till recipt info yesterday it was there.
Having read through this thread, I see folks are becoming increasingly worried about Tesco catching them for fraud. TBH, if you are genuinely worried your spending is likely to bring you to the fore inTescos eye, why not reign yourself in a bit. after all this has been a good one for a lot of folks, why exploit it to the hilt and it come to an end sooner than planned.0 -
I think this is a brilliant thread, full of advice and suggestions of what to buy to maximise DTD. It's a shame that the word 'fraud' and it's implications are mentioned even after being asked to refrain from discussions of it.
Many thanks to gazwood for starting the thread, has been one of the most useful on MSE. Also thanks to everyone who has contrubuted with fantastic advice and ideas.Born to glitch0 -

we should play a new game, "how much can we cram into our frezzers/cupboards/garage"life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0

Submit the receipt, you will get DTD back on the Hawaiian Tropic as well.
I did this at the weekend i got 6 bottles of the Turner wine for 9.99 a bottle, the sel said 4.99 so i took it to customer service and they refunded me in full, i then submitted the voucher and got the full amount back again by way of a voucher.
My receipt had overcharge written on it and the 6 bottles circled clearly but it didnt make any difference - i spent the voucher with no problems.
The overcharge policy and the pricematch policy are two seperate things.
Thats just not on i think you will spoil it for others and i will say its fraud i would keep that to my self i would never never do that0 -

LOL this made me chuckle. That's probably something my dad would do. I think it's just something to do with the male species. They fail to see the bigger picture.0 -
Reported that as FRAUD, suggest others do likewise
what a ridiculous thing to say - of course it is not fraud.
The original poster was charged the correct price for the wine and recompensed by Tesco for the fact that a wrong shelf edge price was displayed in accordance with their policy.
He then quite legitimately entered his receipt details to take advantage of the, separate, price match promotion.
Nothing wrong with that. If Tesco's took their pricing integrity more seriously it wouldn't have happened.0
