I did my first shop and have got a DTD voucher for £10. I'll go back to Mr T tomorrow, but is it best to do a 'normal' MSE shop like Elsie did, to use the voucher, or, can I do another bargainiferous one? I'm a bit confused by the 'signing the receipt' that people are talking about. Does the store sign the new receipt to stop you using it to price match?
Thanks
Cbm
Some people have done another DTD shop, there has been the odd occasion flagged up on here when staff have signed second receipt or even said voucher can't be used coz of previous shop being paid for with DTD voucher, this seems to be quite rare and done by jobsworth type staff!!!! Its a bit of a lottery really, pick on a staff member you think you can get into a friendly and chat with before you hand them the voucher seems to be a good trick!!!!!

I noticed peeps saying their vouchers had one digit different, one of mine is like that. Will it still be accepted does anyone know please?
I never check the numbers and the SAs don't as well(for me anyway, think they start to get the idea what I'm up to and they find it funny :P)... If you are worried call CS, but I'd just try it and if refused instore ask them to call HO there and then or try another store/SA...0 -

Bloody hell! Bought 2 x 8 pack of Coca Cola (full fat version) for the third time the other day. Voucher has come back and they've given DTD on them for the first time!
So, 2 x 8 pack Coca Cola now seems to be working, whereas before it was coming back N/A.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -
Just a novices quiestion - not tried before but thinking of ordering the Iams and getting £4.12 back per bag (going to get 5 to get the full £20 back - will it only work if I only order them and nothing else with online shpping - ie - if I put other stuff into my basket will it cancel the savings away?
Only asking as I had my last two bills checked on the Tesco site and they seemed to be going on the total of the bill - not individual price differences.
Its the total shop. If going in store pay for things on DTD seperatly. Then do normal shopping. I haven't done on line shopping, but yes, the orders for DTD items would need to be seperated to get the best out of the voucher.... ok if other items are same in tesco, but don't add anything thats cheaper in tesco!!!!

well went to tesco with my daughter to spend 2 of the new vouchers with the missing digits
i went through on one checkout no problems
daughter went through another and the sa would not except it at all.. ,,, so daughter went to customer services and the woman at cs was going to let her go through with it until the sa said i have just refused that one at till for numbers not matching up.. sa also underlined all the numbers on bottom of receipt
guess i will be on phone too HO tomorrow0 -
Got a Turner Road yesterday and still comparing to A's at £4.48, to reassure previous poster.
Sorry, just checked mysupermarket and T's have finally reduced it to £4.99 - still was good while it lasted and the Hardy's Crest still looks ok!0 -
