Well, my vouchers came through too late for me to make a trip today. I was panicking a little, thinking if I didn't get them before 8.30am tomorrow, then I'd have to actually spend cash! And have three vouchers on the go instead of two!

Anyway, tomorrow's shop is now on. I'm considering whether to continue doing mixed shops of various DTD items or just focus on bulk-buying one item at a time, e.g. stocking up on loo roll tomorrow - 20 x Tesco Value = £20, DTD back £19.20. Then moving on to kitchen towels or whatever. Hmmm...

    Hi
I have just come back from my hols and did some shopping at Mr T's before i went away on 18th march. I input the receipt details on friday and this morning received a double the difference voucher for £20 yet on the email i received back from Tesco it says Asda beat my price by £16 so surely i should have received a double the difference voucher for £32 - not £20, im confused? can anyone please enlighten me
    thank you xx

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you should have entered before you went away. Vouchers now capped at £20.

I just wanted to say thanks to all for a highly entertaining thread all this week.

I was late to the party but got in under-the-wire midweek with a £78 DTD voucher just prior to the £20 cap on a shop of Guinness, Leffe & Turner Road culminating in it being all free. Spent it as part of a huge monthly household shop this morning with no problems.

Did a little shop yesterday just on bread and milk but couldn't resist throwing in another Turner Road bottle along with it and got another DTD for over a tenner. If Tesco haven't got the sense to drop the price on this item then I have no sympathy for them whatsoever. Nice wine too.

    Keep the fire going!
