Well I pressed claim one day to a £1 prize but then the next day I won £10 so sent off for that instead...wrote the date and time on the bottom but still seem to have received the £1 from the previous day
I have sent an email using the prize admin email address on Facebook. Will see what they say...
I take a screen print and hovver the cursor over the time(bottom right) so that the date appears and the time is clearly shown. I have received all my correct cheques uptil now ,,,, oh and I write the value of the claim on the screen print too.

Hi guys
Thank you so much for all the advice & kind wishes - i've had a very long day and am very very tired so going to digest it all over the next few days. Been to look at another house tonight - will update later in the week. God i really need my velvet cheques soon.
Big hugs to all (oh and re DTD i've got a £20 voucher to use but Tesco are doing Timotei B1G2F plus a few other things so gonna stock up on that can't be bothered with the DTD anymore too much else on my mind to sort out).

Evening all...Glad to know OH is back home UM....!!! ((((Big hugs))) from me too.:A:A
Good thing few of you started getting their cheques. Hope Blue and Mad would also get their big wins soon...:A
I did not mention my winning amount on the claim forms, so don't know how they are going to deal with it, especially with all the mess they did already.:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Barclays comp was much better organised, in the sense that, every win had a unique reference number.
Now I am thinking to send them a separate letter mentioning date, amount, email etc...etc....:o
Not sure it will help really, though..:(0 -
I don't normally post on this area of the site so apologies if I am duplicating information you already know but I've been following the Velvet saga both on here and on FB and have established the following:
VCG appear to be be heavily involved in the promotion - one of the roles they commonly undertake is to guarantee that the total cost of a promotion will not exceed the agreed amount - this is stated on their website. Presumably the agreed amount is the £5million stated on promo packs but perhaps the fact that they've paid out on non-promo packs has had a bearing on that, therefore they have had to look at the 'risk management' aspect a little more closely!
Velvet have provided, on their FB page, an email address for Debbie Matthews at VCG for people to send queries to - Debbie@vcgpromorisk.com - those with outstanding wins may want to use this email address to try to resolve their problem with delayed cheques
If Debbie doesn't respond, the 'our people' part of the site provides further email addresses for other representatives of VCG
I won £100 and am planning to email Debbie tomorrow with my concerns. If I get no response, I plan to email the 2 guys who are stated as being the founder members of VCG
If nothing else, I expect an explanation if they are planning to refuse my claim. For the record, I WAS playing more than once per day for this household (there are 5 of us here) but I only did so after seeing a post by velvet on their wall telling someone that she would have 2 wins honoured for the same day provided she sent separate claims for each. I won my £100 win on my 3rd household play so assume I will have my claim refused

Again, apologies if you already know all of the above
ETA - If I remember correctly, VCG were also behind the Walkers Rainy day comp. A complaint to the ASA about this comp was upheld a few weeks ago - adjudication link is below for anyone interested
http://www.asa.org.uk/ASA-action/Adjudications/2011/3/Walkers-Snack-Foods-Ltd/TF_ADJ_49869.aspx08 wins £3000+ :j09 wins £4408:j2010 (6 months off) £2004:j2011 £10,003 :j 2012 - £6013 :j2013 wins £8500 :j 2014 £5530 so far....0 -

Has anyone been buying the Finest Rack of Lamb for DTD? I've seen this mentioned on the DTD thread but I'm a bit confused as it doesn't seem to be comparable on MySupermarket. Which one is it and do you have to buy a particular weight? TIA0
