No DTD for me today. My tummy really hurts. Think it's all the pizza/wedges/fish/magnum/crisps/elevenses that I have chucking down my gob. Boohoo. Now I'm on mint tea to try and help it get back to normal. Bad Mr T has made me ill now!

Well yesterday I won £100 on the Velvet Competition. Although reading some of the experiences on here, it doesn't sound like its going to come through:mad:

What would be your advice, I've got to send the receipt and claim form in, should I send it recorded delivery or registered post like it suggests? I would have thought recorded would be better so I know its been received at their end.

I have already sent a couple of £10 wins in but this £100 win will be very welcome!
I would read their Facebook page and ask on there, might or might not get a reply....was this your one and only entry within that 24hour period, using only 1 email address? If you tried with any other email addresses within that period then I doubt you will get your money....

    Hi everyone!
Dawnie feels much better today - only prob with sleeping most of yesterday meant i couldn't sleep last night but been on fire today, housework done, lovely long walk with the dogs (except for youngest killing poor birdie up the fields!), been into town, not gonna have half hour relax before tackling the ironing. No mothers day card for me - the dogs forgot to go shopping!
Re the Co-op vouchers, checked and mine said expire 2nd April so too late.
Forgot to say - found a new house on Friday, £135/mth less than i'm paying now, £300 less on council tax, 7 miles from work meaning 14 miles/day instead of 80 - rang letting agent and they've said i can't move till June as am tied in - am fighting it as boiler still not fixed from 6th Jan meaning he's broken the contract anyway. Hopefully hear something tomorrow.
A home is not a home ..... without a dog

Good news re your prospective house Dawnie - fingers crossed for you that you can get it sorted out. The difference in price would be as good as getting a wage increase.:T:T
