Very unlike me but gonna have a snooze on the sofa as going out tonight to see Colin Fry (the medium bloke) - fingers crossed my guardian angel comes to see me.:shhh:
But before i go night nights i just wanted to show you this - after waiting for so long and wishing and hoping i finally got to meet one of my fave horses yesterday, have followed him for years, lost lots of money backing him, he's now retired from racing and is happily grazing at Jonjo O Neills stables in Cheltenham and we met finally yesterday (he's called Mylo) - hence the liking - my dogs called Milo! I love this pic of him - in some of the others he looks like a bedraggled old cart horse!.
He is beautiful Dawnie - I know exactly what you mean re horses as I am a total nut about them:)0 -
Hello everyone; it's very quiet on here! Are you all dtd'g??
I have another virus, exactly a month after the first one, so have been sleeping, reading on here, sleeping. Had to go out to get some meds and did a dtd shop, I was a little more savvy this time. Seems the more I do it the worse I get!!
My lovely neighbours have moved; I had no idea until the van came...(they work full time and I've been at my daughter's a lot this year)...but around midnight a note was pushed through the letter box (I had been quietly crying)...from them saying they wished they could have seen me before they went, and gave me their new address...I feel bereft right now, how silly is that. They are a young couple and really nice.
Byatt, you sound like you're really down atm - (((hugs))) hun and I hope things improve soon for you. Take care0 -
Byatt - i had a similar thing recently, constantly feeling ill etc, doc recommended vit c tablets - Tesco do a pot of chewable ones for about £2 he also said to drink pomegranate juice within a couple of days i felt so much better - try it.A home is not a home ..... without a dog0

"I'll just give you a little injection" my dentist said pleasantly. O - M - G  I was convinced the needle was going up through my nose and out through my brain . If that was a little one, please never, never, ever let me have to have a big one. _pale_
It's years since I've had any filling and I had to have a root canal filling this afternoon - bring on childbirth anyday!
I must admit I've never really been good with dentists. I don't tolerate pain easily and I'm not overkeen on anyone messing about in my mouth - especially with the instruments of torture they call dental equipment, Why can't it be compulsory for dentists to put you under general anaesthetic the second you walk into the waiting room? I wouldn't mind floating away for half an hour or so whilst my mouth was ravaged and then wake up to spit and dribble in the bowl.
Anyway, before I went I managed a quick dash into Mr' T's. Bought two copies of the sunand used the £5 Finish vouchers (2 for £10), so thanks for posting that m4rtin.

Dr.Who-Who wrote: »Not sure whether its specifically for me or anybody can do the survey.
We want to get better, and decided the best way to improve would be to ask you, our customers, what you think. To thank you for your time, we’ll send you a £10 voucher to spend on anything you want in The Handpicked Collection. With over 200 new products about to be added to the range, there’s never been a better time to treat yourself.

Awwweeee, thanks guys, I didn't realise I sounded so whiny. That comes from putting up with my own company for the last few days! Too many losses in the last 5 years so losing my neighbours was more of a blow than it should have been.
Thanks Dawnie I will definitely give the vit c and pom juice a go...I'll pop to T's tomorrow. Love the horse; my DD is horse mad.:A
jonty, that sounds awful ...I know injections right in front of the nose are really painful. I had a major phobia about dentists and used to have a sedative, intravenously, which I had to pay for but it was wonderful...as I was leaving, I insisted on thanking everyone over and over again...:o but wow! it felt great. :rotfl:0 -
I'm very slowly converting my mum to the coupon club - she happily uses Sainsburys conditional spends in mr Ts now and she always checks her A receipts... not got her doing DTD yet but she definitely undestands what I am doing as I avoid all the multibuy offers :rotfl:
Bought 1L Bacardi today - fingers crossed for a £19.58 vouchermaking the bottle £3.21...or free with the previous DTD voucher used. The SA informed me that they were on offer - 2 for £26. In my surprised voice I said 'oh - I don't think I need two'
He then started telling me about a lady that comes in store every week with £40s of DTD vouchers. 'Apparently she goes online and looks for all the ASDA offers'. Ha ha - who would do that? :rotfl::rotfl:Addicted to MSE0 -

Byatt, I want one (make that 2) of those please.
It didn't help when she said re-assuring things like "oh, that's unusual", I haven't had one react like that for a long time" without qualifying what it was that was unusual or how it was reacting (I wasn't sure if she meant me or my tooth, and didn't really want to know!) :silenced:
Sorry you've lost your neighbours, especially if you got on well with them. It's always an unsettling time when you get new neighbours, but I'm sure you'll get on just as well with them.0 -
I too had the email saying they made an error with the coupon and will be sending out new ones. I had infact already been shopping and used the original one and it comes up as MAGAZINE AND GIVES YOU £6.49 OFF!!! The smoothies are 2 for £5 in asda and you get 84p back on multi buy savings as well.0
