I saw my neighbour hosing down the inside of his car bonnet and engine yesterday. Surely this is an ideal way to short the electrics and damage all the components of a vehicle in an otherwise good condition?
Depends on the car- I've hosed parts of mine down before after working on them!0 -
I have lovely neighbours next door and across the road we all look out for each other to the extent whilst walking my dogs on their leads another dog flew off the farmers field and i was dragged into neighbours house cue 2 other neighbours shouting at the owner with me in neighbours front room cowering with my 2 dogs:o.
But we have one weird family we all have single story back extensions used to be coal sheds but most have been joined onto the houses and he put up great big wood boards on the roof of his , council came round and he took them down followed by puting up a washing line attatched to the 20 ft fir tree in the garden and hanging 2 sheets up on there he has now barricaded his back fence with off cuts of wood and polystyrene and has 20 foot leylandi down the side of his fence in the back garden, a garage full of rabits in cages and chickens and 2 cockerels in the garden. 3 cars and parks them all round the local area only 2 adults in the house shouts at anyone who parks near his house goes into the neighbours garden when he is away to paint his side of the house odd,odd,odd0 -
When I lived in London-
Nigerian landlord above us. Lovely, lovely man, always willing to help out, invited us up for dinner several times. Used to dance a few times a week in his living room, and all we'd hear was thump, thump, thump.... Was alright once we worked out what it was!
British guy on our floor. Very strange, but nice and harmless. Believed he was the original drummer for The Who, and had been left out of every TV appearance they ever did in a mass conspiracy. Used to watch horror films every night at 0300hrs, with the volume fairly high....
Romanian couple below us. Again, lovely couple, nice and quiet. Every Sat night at midnight, they'd roll in with their friends, and cheerfully invite us down for a party. He fancied himself as a musician, and once spent 3 hours in his back garden surrounded by candles playing one note over and over again on a banjo. Around 2-3am, they'd have an argument, the party would disperse, and he would storm out. 0800, and she'd be sobbing her heart out with the worst selection of love songs from the 80's......
Did enjoy London- was definitely never boring!
