Hi, I recently bought the above dvd/vcr combi. I want to 'finalize' the discs, so I can play them on other dvd players, but can't seem to work it out.

Any ideas or a relevant forum site?

It is hidden in my Sony DVD/HD under the menu of Disc Info. It may help.

on my dvd recorder you go into set up and navigate to utility then the options to finalise etc shows on the screen for you to select. Mrs Happy

I can navigate through, and am able to lock the disk. But, I can't find where to finalise. When I then go through the menu, and it tells me about the disk that is in the machine at the time, it tells me that the disk is locked, and at the line for finalised or not finalised it is blank.
