Hello everyone, I am having huge probs with getting my emails through :mad: I have been away so there are quite a few to come through and this seems to be taking for ever
the other thing is, a lot of them are the same email but repeated (15 from Amazon!) sometimes. Could any of you good people please tell me what is happening?

Others have also reported problems with Tiscali e-mail. Have you tried logging into their web based e-mail to see if anything is stuck in your inbox?:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Tiscali's status page seems to indicate nothing wrong. Maybe there's some very large emails that may be causing the problem. If you login through tiscali's webmail you should be able to check whether there are and delete them manually and any other useless emails without having to download them."She is quite the oddball. Hi Carmen,
I know this doesn’t address the problem you’re having but it may be useful to you.
I use popcorn to check my email. It is especially useful for people on a slow dial-up connection because it reads directly from the server and doesn’t download attachments, so it is fast. You can check and delete unwanted emails before downloading them with Outlook Express.
I carry it on a flash drive and can check mail using any pc that has web access.

Hello again, I have tried to delete all the 'copies' I have in my box but it will not allow me to do so! Any more suggestions please?

If you cannot delete mail, I would think that there is a problem with their mail server, so knowing Tiscali's idea of customer service, give it a few days!:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
