i have my cooker a microwave and a george foreman grilling machine.
Recently i got a slow cooker though and its awesome. I jsut bung a load of veg in , bit of stock and leave it all day then have nice soup in the evening with some bread
Am debating whether or not to ask for vouchers towards a bread maker or whether i should just try making it by hand - think that could be fun but then agian a bread maker takes all the hassle out of it - plus i have a 2 and a half year old so it might be easier to use a machine.
god we are useless at making soup. i have a slowcooker and we have even tried to make stock using chicken bones and it was a disaster, the soup was tasteless. my mum and mil can make lovely tasty hm soup, but whenever we try it is a disaster. i think we need a soup masterclass. help! married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-09

for me and there is only three of us at home is a breadmaker as i do not go near any of the cake and bread areas in supermarket when shopping so not buying flapjacks and rolls that went in the bin the next day is saving me money.also you know what goes into your bread which when you look at ingredients of bread today its scary,no going back for me.Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

I read somewhere that the secret to a good soup is to make sure you "sweat" the veg really well in oil or butter first.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
