hester - didn't read properly yesterday, but most things with CRB/SW/related numpties is ALWAYS a pain - hope you can bang their heads together & some 'em some sense!
Hugs & kisses to anyone else who needs them for birthdays/feeling carp/congrats etc.
After a week of wall-to-wall sunshine it's now cold & grey here, so washing may be on airer or in TD. Need to sow tomatoes/herbs in pots today & mow the lawn. Going to a seed swap in the village where they're also selling apple trees for £5 - hope to come away with 2!
Tea is spag bol using some sauce I froze the other week, and need to bake something for treats.
Have a good Saturday & will see if I can pop in later.

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday to NPM :T have a great day, Hello to Noah too xx
Another one awake at 6, I long for a lay in all week, and when I get the chance I am wide awake. OH bought me a cuppa in bed, and I read my book for a while, been pottering and doing washing etc.
Just had toast with hm damson jam :T, it was lovely, and I need to use up last years stock before I start on this years :rotfl:
DD is still in bed, will leave her for a while, she has been complaining of headache for a while, will phone the Dr on Monday, I think its just exam stress etc, but will get her checked.
OH and I have woken with raging sore throats and chesty coughs, not surprising really as I have been sitting opposite a woman at work this week, who has been coughing and spluttering all over me, she really was poorly but continued to come into work, so I would like to thank her for sharing
Any hoo, I think DD needs to go into town today, she needs to get some bits for her photography gcse, which is next week, I also need to nip to the bargain shop, they have 5 muller corners for £1 at the moment, so will stock up, they also do a bag of ham 'bits' for £1.99, and there is loads of ham in them, enough for a couple of meals, and sandwiches for the week.
Cheesy Nabs for tea tonight, nice and easy, will just shove it on the table and they can help themselves.
WM will be doing overtime today 4 loads, I also have dd's school shirts in a bleach solution, they are a bit yellowey ( is that a word :rotfl:) under the armpits, and I refuse to buy any more for the few weeks she has left.
Jools, big hugs to you xx
miecherox what a horrible situation, bad at any time but must be worse when you are pregnant, I hope the union can help you xx
Bargain :T cant wait to see the photos, I am a nosy one
Have good days all xx0 -
Happy Birthday to npm I hope you have a smashing day and get spoilt rotten
Well the sun is trying to burn off the misyt over the river here so I am hoping for a nice day .Clocks go forward tonight so that will make the summer a bit nearer as the dark evening will slowly dissapear.my sis-in-law is arriving at around lunch time and I have some nice crusty rolls and HM soup for lunch.I made dinner last night and it in the fridge ready for tonight I made a big lasagne which can go into the oven around 6.00 and a ceme caramel which is has set and is in the frige already I like dinner to be sorted well in advance so we can have a jolly long chinwag this afternoon.Tomorrow we are going to Dds for dinner but I may take her for a nice long stroll along the riverside Park if the weathers nice enough.very pleasant down there it is and you can get a nice cuppa as well.
Hope everyone has a good weekend and the sun shines for you all. This time next week I shall be in transit between here and Herefordshire with my friend going on our week's annual spring break.Have started sorting out all my bits and pieces already to go.
have a good day everybody

(((Miecherox))) - hope things get sorted for you.
Its the weekend :T
Going to have a pottering day today. Have to drop DD off at school for her drama rehersals - production is next week. Know what you mean about exam stress Redruby!
Think will be lasagne for dinner, have some milk to use up. Washing and ironing of school uniforms to be done. Will probably spend sometime in the garden but I think the weather is meant to be better tomorrow so will aim to get most done then.
Off now for a little surf, have a great day.x0 -
Morning all
Back from York we had a lovely time -I know this as DD and I are tired out! Soo much walking! We were OS and made lots of sandwich lunches and cooked evening meals as we rented a house and it was cheap as we booked it after the let week had started. Home from home for me but no cleaning or washing.
DD's other half is ok in their suburb of Tokyo. DD's job may not be there when she gets back as a lot of the foreigners have left and taken their children out of school. She is in contact with her boss.
As usual when she is home she has aranged a punishing schedule of visits to friends etc, but is having a day off today.
Happy Birthday NPM and hugs and good wishes to everyone. Special hugs to Miecherox.
Better get up and start the washing/unpack the cases.
Have a good day
