Hi All, been working away these past few days, with no opportunity to post.
Today is really just about catching up on the washing, laundry, shopping etc.
Did main shop at Aldi, then visited Home Bargains and B&M,only going to Sainsburys for the last few bits that I couldnt get elsewhere.
Washing is out on line, but its not a very nice day here in the Midlands, so I'm not sure how dry it will get.Debt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -
Thanks to everyone for their congrats on losing 10lbs - for anyone that's interested I'm doing Slimming World and its quite easy for me being a veggie to fit the food into normal life - lots of pasta, rice, F&V, eggs and quorn.
Its taken 5 weeks to lose 10lbs - I wanted to lose a stone by Easter so hopefully that's still manageable.
People are starting to notice and my clothes are definitely getting too loose ( will have to buy some new ones but not quite yet).
I would recommend it if anyone fancies a go! I'm never hungry as there's always something to eat and you can fit in the odd glass of wine and a bit a choccy if you fancy it.0 -
Today I have/will:
1. Checked online banking
2. Walked dog locally
3. Store cupboard meals
4. Consumer pulse
5. Dog received Turkey and Rice food for Seniors to test from Tesco:D She wolfed it down so I assume she likes it:D
6. OU coursework in the garden:jIt's nice and sunny here.
7. Watched criminal minds
8. Requested items to test from Boots
9. Pigsback
Welsh Woofer: Congrats on your weight loss - must be all the dog walking:beer:Tesco: £1361.19, Vanquis: £2644.73, Very: £563.08, Next: £1636.95, M&S: £1049.92. As of 5th February 2024. Slava Ukraini0 -

I'm really tempted, but doesn't to cost money to register etc? I don't have the budget at the moment.Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
I went into work this morning for a few hours for a catch up (when I'm there, I'm not spending cash!)
Bought some groceries, and prepared a meal plan for the rest of the week (and I have pretty much all I need to last this week)
Completed a Valued Opinions survey and my rewards sit at £8.25 with about £4 waiting to be credited
Will be doing the ironing today in front of the football on the TV
Made some nice coffee at home rather than buying outside
Switched off the lounge heater (which is the only one that has been on for the last few months)
Took a meter reading (as Scottish Power still think it appropriate to charge £97 a month for a 2 bed flat with only the fridge freezer on all day!)Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

Yes its £9.95 the first week (registration and weekly fee) and then £4.95 a week after that.
What a lot of people seem to do is go once, get it all explained, get the free books and resources and an initial weigh in and then do it at home by themselves saving the weekly weigh in money.
There's a SW thread on the Health and Beauty forum on MSE that has tons of advice, recipes and general chat that you may find a help if joining isn't possible at the moment.
Good luck either way!0 -

Hello everyone!
A very late post from me as I have been busy busy today, up early to go looking for wedding dresses...but alas I am an awkward one & nothing appears to be "the one" despite seeing some lovely dresses (& some not so lovely price tags :rotfl:). Might have to look a bit further afield...
I have also...- Had brekkie from stores
- Free lunch round my mums again
- Payday seems to have come early for both me & OH according to our online banking, so have shifted some funds around
- Also went to Mr T's & stuck closely to list, only got a few extras but they were very good deals
- I've just used that price checker thingymajig as well, thanks for the tips guys!
- Tried to drive conservatively today, but filled up the car again using petrolprices.com
- Logged calories on free app
- Done some washing on eco setting & hung it up to dry
- Had the heating off as long as possible, unfortunately it's a bit nippy tonight
- Checked ebay - got a nice amount coming my way
- Done all the surveys I can
- Entered a few comps
- Made a meal plan for next month
- OH did some overtime today too
Welshwoofer - Congrats on the weightloss
Stitchy - That corset belt looks very cute!
NTBY - My continued well wishes regarding your job!
Hope everyone's had a great day, see you all on here again tomorrow! x:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57
