Help! Asda car insurance about to cancel!

Hi,
Im having a complete nightmare, so Im hoping someone can point me in the write direction on how to prevent my car insurance being cancelled tomorrow!
A whole series of different problems have emerged that just keep getting worse!
I have just changed my car insurance provider to asda online exclusive, they seemed to be offering a good quote that included all the cover options that I wanted. I'm not sure if I've made a huge mistake in my choice now and an expensive one too.
I had for years previously used first quote to get an insurance deal with, it had always been problem free with out the need to much other than pay the premium, even when changing my cars or adding temporary ect.
last year the insurance company through them was Zenith, from pretty much the start problems started, paperwork not arriving, then eventually 3 copy's in the same envelope plus a couple went to my previous address ....
I had decided way ahead to to not continue with Zenith as they had the worst customer service and had repetitively lacked the ability to communicate with out being persistently chased up
.... plus to after 10+ years of no claims I had a pretty minor bump one morning and the lady claimed for everything and anything .....and though it was down to the volume of mums on the school run being badly parked and completely illegally on a junction and the bend on both sides somehow Zenith were most unconcerned at helping me whatsoever and the final snappy short call from
them just wanted a simple yes or no to it being my fault and pretty much decided for me, ignoring all diagrams and statements I had sent, (apparently a couple were unreceived and lost) well after a lot of effort to get updates I was just relived it was dealt with
and I received a letter to say it had been paid,
I remember clearly asking in a phone call if I would need to do anything else or expect anything more or if it and confirm it was fully dealt with,.. I pretty much always ask this to any company I have or do give money too...
So thinking this was dealt with I expected a higher premium from quotes, I have only lost 2 years ncb as I aware, so I have least 8yrs but whatever zenith carries over I have would have 5+ ...
When my renewal was due I compared quotes and took out insurance with the Asda one, I was honest about the accident on the form and even though I have no idea what the costs a lack of info, but the form for asda had an option to select if you were
unsure, and also didn't need to enter the renewal quote at immediately either.
I read the small print or so I thought, and read saw they would want my proof of NCB, Nothing has come from zenith and so I start the battle to get them to actually send me it...
Well the end of my Zenith was a couple of days away, and still no renewal
when my asda policy started earlier this month and still now I've not had it!.
On enquiring after I manage to get past the being put on hold in cue, they claim to be sending one ... and have also claimed to have sent one to me already, which Ive not had any still!
Knowing that my time to get my proof to asda was running out I followed the advice on there letter to contact them if I had any problems in providing in time,
..worryingly asda have no phone number it appears, which is a pain, just email address to contact them with..... the two email address they give, only one will work and plus I've not heard a word in reply other than a generic reminder email.
Sorry this is so long.... but it gets worse....
Today I get home from work, no post which latley isnt unusual ... at 5.30pm my door is knocked and its the postman with mail and one recorded that signed for.... at 5.30pm on a Friday!! I open it an Its from Asda telling me I only had 7 days from the the date on the letter (19th march) to submit my proof for and be approved as they will be cancelling the policy at 15.30pm on the 26/03/ if not recived! thats tommorow, they also claim to have repetedly requested and that I havent contacted them... I yet again used the email address they give to try immediately try to get through to them, I would have preferred to phone but they don't have a number !
They have also now asked for my Driving license, which Ive not had to send
before. Will my licence number not be enough?
To add more to the saga Ive looked everywhere for it, its just a paper one and I cant findit at all, I cant believe it!!
I got straight onto getting a replacement, which inst that easy to do so late in the day with there many phone menus and queue's
.... so I then try the on line form on the dvla site.. but even though I have my driving licence number It just wont accept my address or address I've ever lived at and tried to enter that could possibly be ? ...
Right now I just don't know what to do, is it even possible to get the info via another route and in time or extension?
Of course there is a good chance I still don't get a response from the mysterious asda email department?
What should I do about making sure I have an insurance for Monday as I have to go to work ?
There arent buses at 6am as a backup.
Do i assume its definitely cancelled if no reply by tomorrows deadline and look for
alternative insurer in-time for Monday?
If Asda do cancel I'm worried I will end up having to pay far more now than a just over week ago to get same level of insurance .... would it be required as info like a refusal?
Oh and a whacking cancellation fee on top?.
I paid for the insurance in full too!
Will it automatically be refunded or is it going to be a battle?
I'm feeling completely swamped with the whole thing right now.
Thank you in advance for any advice please.

You need to get a phone number for Asda from somewhere- try getting through from the quotes number with your policy ref (0800 181 4902, just explain and they should be of some help) and explain that you have only just recieved the letter. Give them your policy details from Zenith and ask that they contact them as well.
I wouldnt bank on you having 5+ years of no claims though. If Zenith only give out 5 years as their max and deduct 2/3 for the claim you will be looking at less that 5 years.
If they do cancel it, ultimatly you would have to disclose it, yes.0 -
If you don't get anywhere by 15.30 this afternoon then your policy will be cancelled, so whatever you do don't drive again before sorting out a new policy!
(Your NCD will now be 3 years following your claim)0
