That is fantastic. It's great when anyone goes DF but when it's someone we are used to seeing around the place somehow it has added fabulousness. I hope your new found wealth brings you great happiness. It must be amazing to be able to be free at last. :T:beer::j:cool::D
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(
  • congratulations
Hope you will still be around giving advice :-)
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

Well done!!! I'm on the road to where you are and I want to have my debt free day too. It was a long journey for you. Enjoy and treat yourself!!!
Former MSE user - I don't post on MSE anymore, or respond to PMs. I would like to be able to officially set profile to "former user" which would be helpful as it seems you can never leave MSE - just choose not to use it!

    Well done.

Make sure you stay on the straight and narrow - my user name says it all.

I think getting rid of debt is a bit like losing weight, it's both measured in pounds and in both cases it's very easy to undo everything that's been achieved.

I'm not saying the hard work starts now, but I do think you need to remain very vigilant.

It concerns me the number of DFWs and bankrupts on these boards who are so concerned about rebuilding their credit rating.
