Van hire at 20 years old?
Options
I need a van for the day.
Hertz will give me a Vauxhall Combo or similar for a young driver surcharge of £15.75/day which is fine. Only problem is they want twice the amount for rental at a local location than at one 30 miles away which is ridiculous. I doubt I'd be able to park my car at their compound overnight?
Anyone know of any other hire companies that will rent a 20 year old a similar sized van?
EDIT - near Glasgow.

Bump
Worked out that if I take the train to location #2 I'll only save ~£15, probably not worth it for the amount of diesel I'd end up using in the hire vehicle and time.0 -
AVOID THIS COMPANY like the PLAGUE!! i oredered a van to be delivered to my address so i can move home today. it was meant to be here at 9am! come 930am still no van ... so i rang them and they told me that a woman had called yesterday to cancel the van!! how could this be? No1 else knew about the van i was hiring, let alone which company and to top it all off ... only i have been in possession of my reference number which was on password protected laptop!
so after arguing with a foreigner for almost 15mins about it, they tell me that a 20% cancelation fee will be deducted from my account...
THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! AVOID them ... so ... i am now back off to moving house in my car!!!! Thanks a bunch A1 you complete b*&£%"&S0
