I absolutely agree about the like minded company. I feel more and more that I am the exception where I live, or rather me and OH are, the the other two couples in our little bit of the road, have both "bought" two new cars EACH in the previous two years. And we have still got the same one and little debt. Go figure!!!I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Hi,
I read that article in EVE today and don't think they were being disparaging (is that the right spelling!!). The whole magazine had an ECO slant, a few other articles were " Why I decided to go 100% green" and "How green are you?". I thought it was a really positive article but agree that the tips weren't very good. It was quite good and recommended some books and websites.0 -

True, very true! That was my thought when I read it. The tips were so basic compared to the info you can get on here.0 -

Me too! Plus I thought it had a very American slant. Shame they didn't consult Martin or the DFW's - loads of ideas on here that I didn't knwo about before reading these boards.0 -
Definitely more of us Froogles about now.
There used to be a big queue at the sandwich van at work, now loads more people bring in lunch, leftovers etc. We discuss which is best charity shop, what we got from/gave to freecycle etc.
