Hi. I have just read this and say I do get my milk tokens just now, i use them to pay my local milkman who delivers. They havent arrived this month, milkman came last night and i couldnt pay him as i hadnthad them and was skint!
Hope they start issuing them soon.I Can resist everything, except Temptation x:o0 -
i used to get the tokens as hubby asnt working but then he got a 16hr job to fit in round college, tokens stopped. He hasnt worked for 5 weeks now tx credits office are aware of this and said milk tokens would be sent out no need to apply. Milk token people seem to think i have to reaply so i rang CTC people back and they said no wait and you will get them! :mad:!!!!!

Its usually 7 weeks befor you gett them, thast what i was told last time i applied, i receivced a backdated cheque.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0

i ill apply anyway then! the ctc people said aboutr 7 weeks but the milk people pankied me into thinking i wont get them if i dont apply so ill apply anyway on the off chance that i had to :rolleyes: they never make anything easy do they?! Bad mother to 2!

im sure they do it to put people off! if e make it this difficult x number of people wont bother applying and then look at the money we saved....... :rolleyes:Bad mother to 2!

I didn't realise this scheme was coming in to play so soon... it is a good idea. Hopefully now it is not just for milk it may be more of an incentive to carry on/start breastfeeding, as you can use for fruit and vegetables.
Although from reading the thread it seems complicated who is eligible...0 -

breastfeeding is great but i couldnt carry on past 6 weeks due to DD being poorly and extreemly demanding
i wasnt sleeping and she was feeding alllllll the time!! :eek: i wish she hadnt of been poorly and i could have carried on feeding but thats life some people cant.... Bad mother to 2!
