Xbox 360 - Homefront game not working

I purchased this game last week when it came out, and since then I haven't been able to play any multiplayer games due to technical issues with THQ (manufacturer). It seems like a global problem and they are saying that they are fixing it and to bear with them.
As I paid good money for the game (£42) am I within my rights to return it to the shop where I brought it to get a full refund as it does work correctly?

Id have said so yes. Part of the game is multiplayer (In fact, as I understand it, the solo campaign can be done in about 5 hours so multiplayer is far more than just 'part' of the game)

I think you'll find you're fully within your rights to return in as not being of "merchantable quality" (i.e. fit for purpose), however the retailer won't be obliged to give you a cash refund, they could just issue a credit note.
But I'm not a lawyer so I stand to be corrected :P0
