Cashback credit cards

I was declined a cashback credit card when applying after reading about them on this site but the site never gave a reason. Is there anyway to find out why? I realise this may be posted in the wrong forum, apologies if it is. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Probably your credit rating. Without knowing anything about your circumstances, cashback cards are generally the hardest to obtain and need a good, long, clean record.

It is not possible to get a specific reason forom the lender.
But you can get your credit reports, check them for mistakes and ask on here for clues.
